We are seeking a Senior Marketing Director, Brand Growth to lead our marketing efforts in Canada.

Job Description

The role is based in Toronto and will require up to 25-30% travel. As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to substantially influence Ferrara's growth trajectory and elevation as a global leader, and specifically within the Canadian market.

You will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of brand and trade marketing plans for Canada's portfolio of leading confection brands. This includes translating brand and portfolio growth objectives into an annual plan, managing overall annual plan process, optimizing P&L, and driving a profitable portfolio.

You will also lead advertising and communications plan development and deployment, with the support of our global team. Additionally, you will build relationships with agencies and leverage the scale of Ferrara to disrupt the confection category.

In partnership with cross-functional partners, you will optimize P&L and drive a profitable portfolio. You will also lead on-going Category Management analyses and Business Reporting tools.

You will work closely with our Insights team to lead consumer research efforts (as required) and support the ongoing management, continued evolution, and application of the market growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement brand and trade marketing plans for Canada's portfolio of leading confection brands
  • Translate brand and portfolio growth objectives into an annual plan and manage overall annual plan process
  • Optimize P&L and drive a profitable portfolio
  • Lead advertising and communications plan development and deployment
  • Liaise with agencies to leverage the scale of Ferrara to disrupt the confection category
  • Build relationships with retailers and execute elite in-store execution
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to drive business results
Requirements
  • Solid leadership skills with ability to inspire, motivate, and guide resources to a common goal and vision
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with ability to work with internal/external senior leaders
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strategic thinking with ability to synthesize insights from disparate data sources

Experience
  • Bachelor's degree; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years experience in brand marketing or relevant consulting roles
  • CPG industry expertise required with a preference in FMCG
  • Experience working with global and cross-functional stakeholders
