About the Role

Wealthsimple is seeking a Senior Creative Director - Growth to join our Brand Creative team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating innovative brand experiences that drive real business outcomes. You will work closely with our Growth/Paid Marketing team to develop new collaborative processes that translate data-driven learnings and hypotheses into creative strategies and campaign ideas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Growth/Paid Marketing team to create new collaborative processes that will translate data-driven learnings and hypotheses into creative strategies and campaign ideas.
  • Launch concurrent campaigns across multiple digital/social platforms.
  • Work with partners across brand & product campaigns (often collaborating with writers, designers, marketers, producers, and creative directors) to guarantee an integrated on-brand experience.
  • Become an expert on the intersection of product messaging and audience/market fit.
  • Produce, enhance, and voice creative presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess and partner with external agencies to supplement, scale, produce, and test new ideas across various channels.
  • Innovate to drive conversion, through quick and iterative approaches.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience in design with desired 4+ years specializing in Growth / Performance / Acquisition campaign work or other relevant work.
  • Understands how marketing objectives, strategic positioning, audience insights, and marketing learning agenda can influence creative ideation.
  • Has a portfolio of work that demonstrates an ability to conceive for a variety of audiences, brand challenges, styles, and media.
  • Has a strong visual point-of-view and is confident in their ability to bring concepts to life.
  • Has experience assigning and art directing multiple types of vendors across different mediums (illustration, motion, animation, and 3D).
  • Has experience in both live-action / influencer marketing production along with more design-driven modular creation.
  • Has experience overseeing and collaborating with internal writers and designers, and external production companies in highly iterative workstreams.
  • Is intimately familiar with paid social platforms and the digital media landscape.
  • Is a self-starter and learner who is excited to impact business success through creativity.
  • Is passionate about the role money plays in people's lives; the good, the bad, the ugly, the beautiful.
