Beauty and Fragrance Department Manager

About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Beauty and Fragrance Department Manager to join our team at Hudson's Bay. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and inspiring a diverse and customer-focused team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- People Leadership & Development: Develop and role model leaders and associates to strive for greatness in believing in the same diverse values Hudson's Bay stands for. Hire the right people to share our journey and plan successful strategies to make that happen.
- Collaboration: Partner with Beauty & Fragrance vendors to drive business success and leverage demonstrated support for key events and promotions. Coordinate vendor sales & product knowledge training to develop individual associates and ensure counter-team success.
- Customer Champion: Create a team environment that ensures exceptional customer service and selling capability by role modeling and providing guidance on selling and service techniques to influence positive performance among the team.
- Goal Setting: Possess the ability to pivot ways of thinking and strategy to drive department sales. Lead and plan beauty services, events, and experiences. Utilize sales metrics and analysis to identify and build strategies that enhance the overall performance of the store, ultimately driving consistent results.
- Brand Ambassador: Ensure the Hudson's Bay brand is viewed positively and consistently by the target market. Promote our products and services while focusing on the customer experience.
Requirements:
- Education and/or hands-on experience in make-up artistry.
- Comfortability working with various technologies pertaining to an omni-channel environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
