About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Account Manager to join our team at Softchoice. As an Enterprise Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing our existing customer base, working closely with our account teams, presales, and operational resources to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in overcoming business challenges by utilizing our resources, presales teams, and vendor partners.
- Partner with the Account Executive to develop, manage, and maintain client accounts and relationships.
- Be responsible for managing customer relations on a face-to-face basis.
- Take ownership of software and hardware asset management, including vendor consolidation, software and hardware maintenance and renewal management, and overall supply chain management.
- Drive new business and expand existing business with a focus on asset management, vendor per buying account (VBA) growth, and partner services attach.
- Active participant and contributor to the Account Executive's strategic plan.
- Take ownership of account governance activities and ensure SLA execution.
- Understand the role and responsibilities of the Enterprise Account Manager (EAM).
- Ability to train and coach new EAMs regarding client relationships.
- Mentor and coach new inside support team members.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of proactive account management experience within the enterprise segment and a proven track record of success.
- B2B technology sales experience required.
- Solid business acumen with a strong understanding of Salesforce and how to manage a sales funnel.
- Proven track record as a tenacious salesperson, pursuing net new clients, developing business, and networking with passion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High-level commitment to exceptional customer service and relationship building.
- Understanding of solution selling and creating value for business clients.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- A driven, self-motivated attitude with the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
