About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Scorpius Immigration Services INC. as a key member of our support services team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Direct and motivate staff to ensure seamless day-to-day operations.
  • Operations Planning: Plan, organize, and coordinate daily activities to meet business objectives.
  • Policy Development: Establish and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
  • Training and Development: Train staff on new procedures and technologies to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Communication: Record and prepare minutes of meetings, seminars, and conferences, and ensure effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Office Management: Determine and establish office procedures and routines, and maintain inventory of office supplies.
  • Recruitment: Plan, develop, and implement recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
  • Scheduling: Schedule and confirm appointments, and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative support, including typing, proofreading, and data compilation.
  • Bookkeeping: Perform basic bookkeeping tasks, including financial record-keeping and reporting.
Requirements
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in MS Office, including Excel, Outlook, and Word, as well as Adobe Photoshop and Google Drive.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a large workload.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
