About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Siam Restaurant Company Limited. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our customers receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Preparation
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes of our customers.
    • Source high-quality ingredients and suppliers to ensure consistency and freshness in our dishes.
  • Chef Management
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve the skills and knowledge of our kitchen staff.
  • Kitchen Operations
    • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, cooking, and presentation.
    • Ensure that all kitchen staff are following proper food safety and handling procedures.
  • Inventory Management
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that we have the necessary ingredients and supplies to meet customer demand.
    • Develop and implement systems to reduce waste and minimize costs.
  • Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume restaurant or culinary establishment.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of international cuisine.
    • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, staff, and suppliers.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy objects.
