About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Allegro Seniors Home Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute menus that cater to the dietary needs of our residents, ensuring a high level of quality and presentation.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining a clean and organized inventory system.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Collaborate with our dietitian and chef to prepare special meals for patients with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Order supplies and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment, providing regular reports to management.
  • Clean and maintain the kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail and physical stamina.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
