We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Field Service Technician to join our team in Greater Sudbury, Canada.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various customer locations. Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough site evaluations to identify equipment issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and adjustments, to ensure optimal equipment performance.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored recommendations for improving safety and productivity.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and company policies, ensuring compliance and promoting a culture of excellence.
  • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including documentation and reporting.
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and management, embodying the Konecranes values of diversity, inclusivity, and professionalism.

Requirements:

  • A recognized trade qualification as a Journeyman Electrician, Journeyman Millwright, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the field, depending on provincial legislative requirements and CSA standards.
  • Valid driver's license and a good driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel and work outdoors, sometimes at heights.
