Truck and Coach Technician

We are seeking a skilled Truck and Coach Technician to join our team at the Peterbilt Dealership in Sudbury. This role involves the repair and maintenance of Truck & Coach based equipment and attachments in a field environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Evaluate the working condition of equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs and maintenance
- Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently
- Operate related instruments, hand and power tools, and computer systems
- Accurately document work orders and machine information
- Ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards
- Use computer applications to document maintenance and inspection
- Locate and order parts from parts personnel
- Road test equipment and check attachment operation
- Certified Journeyperson in the Truck and Coach technician trade or equivalent designated trade
- Experience with CAT, CUMMINs, and PACCAR engines
- Experience with electrical diagnosis and aftertreatment systems
- Previous mechanical experience in a shop environment
- Registration in the 310T trade
- Commitment to customer service and service excellence
- Ability to communicate and work effectively with customers and team members
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
