We are seeking a skilled I.T Field Service Technician to join our team in Sudbury, ON. The successful candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in this role and possess a strong knowledge of Windows 7. Experience in Desktop Support, Laptops, Servers, Printers, Hardware Support, and iMac is required.

About the Job:
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Document, maintain, upgrade, or replace hardware and software systems.
  • Support user account information including rights, security, and systems groups.
  • Train employees, identify and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed.
Requirements:
  • Available to work extended hours including weekends and evenings for the duration of the contract.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • High school diploma and college or university enrollment/degree.
  • Minimum 2 years experience working as a break/fix Field IT technician and/or lead break/fix Field IT technician.
  • Excellent technical knowledge of hardware and Windows 7, and Windows 10 operating systems.
  • Familiar with current protocols, operating systems, and standards.
  • Able to read and understand technical manuals, procedural documentation, and OEM guides.
  • Possession and use of an owned vehicle for travel between locations.
  • Able to lift a 20 lbs. box from the floor to a tabletop surface.
Salary and Benefits:

$28-30/hour. Incentives include mileage reimbursement at $0.38/km minus the first 20 km, and travel time compensation. Compensation includes mileage, travel time, and benefits.
