About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at MR MIKES Steakhouse Casual. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for leading our culinary operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement menus that showcase our brand's commitment to quality and freshness
    • Work closely with our suppliers to source the finest ingredients and ensure consistency in our dishes
  • Culinary Leadership
    • Lead and motivate our kitchen team to deliver exceptional service and quality
    • Train and develop our cooks to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to excel in their roles
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and safety
    • Conduct regular kitchen audits to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
  • Inventory Management and Cost Control
    • Manage kitchen inventory and supplies to minimize waste and optimize costs
    • Develop and implement strategies to reduce food costs and improve profitability
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and handling
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
    • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
