About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef to join our team at Gate of India Cochrane Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas and recipes to enhance our culinary offerings
    • Plan and execute menus for special events and functions
  • Chef Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff skills and knowledge
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Inventory Management and Requisition
    • Manage inventory levels and requisition food and kitchen supplies as needed
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure high-quality service
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge
    • Strong leadership and communication skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
