About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Gate of India Cochrane Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution
    • Develop and implement new menu ideas that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the expectations of our customers.
    • Plan and execute menu items that cater to diverse tastes and dietary requirements.
  • Chef Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior chefs to help them develop their skills and confidence.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control
    • Ensure that all food preparation and handling procedures meet the highest standards of food safety and quality control.
    • Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that all dishes meet our high standards.
  • Inventory Management and Supply Chain
    • Manage inventory levels and ordering of ingredients and supplies to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure that we receive the best quality products at competitive prices.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication
    • Work closely with other members of the culinary team to ensure that we are providing the best possible service to our customers.
    • Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, servers, and other stakeholders to ensure that we are meeting customer needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Proven track record of menu planning and execution.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety and quality control.
