Diagnostic Imaging Manager

The Diagnostic Imaging Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre's Diagnostic Imaging Department. Reporting to the Director of Diagnostic Imaging, this key position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care, and promoting a culture of excellence and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve departmental performance and patient outcomes.
- Lead and manage a team of staff, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure their growth and success.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of services and effective communication.
- Monitor and analyze financial and operational data to inform decision-making and drive improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and organizational policies.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including physicians, staff, and external partners.
- Master's degree in a related field (e.g., healthcare administration, business administration) or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in a healthcare leadership role, preferably in a diagnostic imaging department.
- Proven track record of success in leading teams, improving operational efficiency, and driving quality improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions.
