Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Manager

The Diagnostic Imaging Manager plays a pivotal role in the success of the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre, overseeing the management of diagnostic imaging services, including Nuclear Medicine, PET/CT, Ultrasound, and MRI modalities. This position requires a strong leader who can foster a motivated and cohesive team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to meet customer needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and strategic planning.
  • Collect and analyze data on financial, quality, utilization, and outcome indicators, driving innovative actions to improve performance.
  • Provide exemplary leadership in managing human and financial resources, promoting a positive and constructive work environment.
  • Develop and implement staffing plans to ensure adherence to corporate priorities, ensuring the availability of departmental supplies and equipment.
  • Participate in strategic planning and accreditation, determining operational goals and objectives in alignment with the corporate direction.
  • Assess the need for resources based on management information, including workload measurement, productivity reports, and financial reports.
  • Ensure compliance with all collective agreements, policies, guidelines, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify trends and risk management issues, implementing strategies to reduce risk and promote quality and ethical practices.
Requirements:
  • Registered with a recognized college or association (CMRTO, CARDUP).
  • Baccalaureate preparation in a health-related field, with a Master's level preferred (MPA, MBA, MHA).
  • 3-5 years of current progressive experience in an acute care setting.
