Human Resources Generalist

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Generalist to support our team at Vintage Hotels.
Job Summary: As a Human Resources Generalist, you will provide guidance and support to our team members and department managers, focusing on recruitment, training, health and safety, team member engagement, and recognition programs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead and execute the full recruitment cycle, developing strategies to support staffing needs and building relationships with community partners.
- Develop and implement training programs, including orientation and service culture training, to ensure new and existing team members have a positive and engaging experience.
- Manage and analyze reports through our HR system, including labor turnover statistics and outstanding training, probationary reviews, and other key metrics.
- Facilitate return-to-work programs and assist with the coordination and oversight of our health and safety program.
- Conduct exit interviews, stay interviews, and track probationary reviews to ensure a smooth transition for departing team members.
- Assist with planning and executing company-wide team member events, such as appreciation days and holiday parties.
Professional Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in an HR progressive role, with a strong desire to develop and progress in the field.
- Post-graduate degree in Human Resources, CHRP certification, and a willingness to progress towards CHRL.
- Knowledge of applicable legislation, including the Employment Standards Act, Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Ontario Human Rights Code.
