Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at PALM & PINE INDIAN RESTAURANT INC. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate food costs, labor costs, and inventory levels to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new menu items and recipes to enhance the dining experience.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience as a chef or in a related culinary role.
  • College or CEGEP diploma in culinary arts or a related field.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
