Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at NS Ltd. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring the highest quality of food is served to our customers.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for:

  • Leading the kitchen team and ensuring the smooth operation of the kitchen
  • Developing and implementing menus that meet the needs of our customers
  • Managing kitchen inventory and supplies
  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless service
Responsibilities:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for:

  • Preparing and cooking complete meals and specialty foods for events
  • Requisitioning food and kitchen supplies
  • Planning menus and ensuring food meets quality standards
  • Preparing dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Training staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Supervising kitchen staff and helpers
  • Managing kitchen operations
  • Inspecting kitchens and food service areas
  • Preparing and cooking special meals for patients as instructed by dietitian or chef
  • Cleaning kitchen and work areas
  • Preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods
Requirements:

To be successful as an Executive Chef, you will need:

  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
