Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our culinary team, developing menus, and ensuring the highest quality of food preparation and presentation. This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week, with a language requirement of English or French.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that meet quality standards and customer expectations.
  • Lead and train a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff.
  • Supervise food preparation and cooking activities, ensuring timely and efficient service.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, managing inventory and budgets.
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for multiple restaurants.
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
  • 1-7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment.
  • Language: English or French.
  • 30 hours per week.
Work Environment:

The Executive Chef will work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, exposed to hot and cold temperatures, and odours. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
