Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ontario Ltd. as a key member of our culinary operations.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our culinary team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, while ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage a team of specialist chefs, chefs, cooks, and other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation.
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menus to meet customer demands and preferences.
  • Supervise and train staff in food preparation, cooking, and presentation techniques.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Work Environment:

The Executive Chef will work in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment, with exposure to hot, cold, and refrigerated temperatures.

Work Setting:

The Executive Chef will work in a restaurant setting, with opportunities to work in multiple locations.

Language:

The primary language of work is English or French.Hours of Work:

The Executive Chef will work 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.
