About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Human Resources Manager to join our team at Specialized Recruiting Group in London, Ontario. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to take on a leadership role and make a meaningful impact in shaping the future of our organization.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing employee relations strategies, executing HR processes, and driving staffing initiatives. As a key member of our HR team, you will work closely with facility leadership to develop metrics and communication tools that drive continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute employee relations strategies and plans for manufacturing and office teams.
  • Partner with facility leadership to develop metrics and communication tools that drive continuous improvement.
  • Recruit and hire qualified candidates for hourly positions, including developing job postings, reviewing applications, conducting interviews, and preparing employment contracts.
  • Investigate complaints and escalate complex issues as appropriate.
  • Implement and administer performance management and objective setting processes.
  • Coach managers and supervisors on writing performance reviews, corrective action, development planning, and verbal coaching.
  • Develop and implement effective on-the-job training and skill level evaluation processes.
  • Support time and attendance tracking, HRIS/payroll input, and benefits administration.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A degree or diploma in Human Resources or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 3 years of progressive experience in HR, preferably in a leadership capacity.
  • CHRP designation or working towards it is an asset.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is between $85,000 and $110,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a generous retirement plan.
