Job Title: Human Resources Manager

A dynamic and experienced Human Resources Manager is required to join our team at Godspeed Group.

The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our HR strategies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with our organizational goals. This position requires a strong background in human resources management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in HR software.

We are seeking a talented individual to foster a positive workplace culture while managing various HR functions, including recruitment, training development, payroll, and change management.

Duties:

  • Oversight of Human Resources Services to ensure smooth operations.
  • Management of health, safety, and environmental programs/policies/procedures.
  • Support for quality management system requirements.
  • Compliance with applicable regulations/legislation.
  • Development and communication of company policies, regulations, and procedures to employees.
  • Recruitment and selection process management.
  • Support and management of training requirements.
  • Benefits administration, wage and salary administration, equal opportunity, disability management, labor relations, records maintenance.
  • Payroll processing backup support.
  • Maintenance of electronic and hard copy records.
  • Advocacy for team members and leaders through open door systems and issue resolution.
  • Leadership through promoting, setting an example, and guiding team leaders to support operational visions, values, and goals.
  • General HR consultative services for employees, HR, and operations management to ensure sound and legal HR practices.
  • WSIB – disability management, modified work program, early/safe return program.
  • Accuracy, urgency, and compliance with regulations in completing work assignments.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • 1-2+ years of proven experience in human resources management, HR Generalist, or a related field.
  • Must have HR experience in a manufacturing or related environment.
  • Union experience is an asset but not required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present information effectively.
  • Experience in training development and implementation of employee programs.
  • Familiarity with change management practices to facilitate organizational transitions.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments while maintaining confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Compensation:$60,000-$95,000 per year + Benefits + 4% of base salary RRSP + bonus
