The Role

We are seeking a Financial Services Expert to join our Customer Service team at our Iqaluit, Nunavut branch. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will understand the needs of customers and provide banking solutions including opening new accounts, offering credit and credit counselling, basic investment products, and promoting personal banking products and services.

Responsibilities

  • You will work with customers to identify their financial needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • You will have experience working with financial institution software systems and possess strong organizational skills.
  • You will be responsible for cash handling, customer service, and sales activities.
  • You will ensure that all transactions are accurate and completed efficiently.
  • You will work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve business objectives.

Requirements

  • You must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • You must have at least one year of customer service experience in the financial industry, retail, or a goal-oriented environment.
  • You must have strong interpersonal skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
  • You must have experience with financial institution software systems and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • You must have acceptable criminal and credit checks.

Salary and Benefits

This is a permanent full-time opportunity with an estimated annual salary of $60,000 - $80,000 based on location and experience.
