About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Network Lead to join our team starting December 2024.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (i.e., Cisco, Palo Alto).

Previous experience leading and executing complex network projects is required.

Responsibilities

  • Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure (i.e., Cisco, Palo Alto)
  • Leading and executing complex network projects
  • Managing wireless networks (i.e., Cisco Meraki, HP Aruba)
  • Supporting Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, etc.), and redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP)
  • Managing network security, including firewalls and VPNs
  • Troubleshooting network issues and resolving connectivity problems
  • Documenting network configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer
  • Previous experience leading and executing complex network projects
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience, plus flights and accommodations in Iqaluit, Nunavut.

This is a one-year contract with a strong possibility of extension.
