">Job Summary
">We are seeking an experienced Director, Social & Cultural Development to lead our team in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the work of NTI's Department of Social & Cultural Development, which focuses on programs and services related to reconciliation, Inuit health, education, elder care, justice, and pre-employment training.

- Provide strategic leadership and oversight to a team of approximately 20 employees.">
- Develop and implement policies and programs aimed at achieving social and cultural equity among Inuit and other Canadians.">
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective management of staff, financial resources, and budget.">
- Analyze complex information to create briefing notes using simple language.">
Requirements
">To be considered for this role, you must have:

- A university degree or diploma in a related field of study, or equivalent experience.">
- At least five years of experience in the field of social and cultural development.">
- Proven experience in managing staff and financial resources.">
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.">
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
