We are currently seeking an experienced IT Network Lead to join our team in Iqaluit, Nunavut. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, including Cisco and Palo Alto devices. Previous experience leading complex network projects is essential.

This role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with 3rd-party vendors. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing network security, configuring network protocols, and troubleshooting connectivity issues.

The salary range for this position is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Charter provides flights and accommodations for remote rotations, and offers a strong possibility of extension beyond the initial 1-year term.

Key qualifications and experience include:

  • At least 8 years of experience as a Network Admin/Engineer with expertise in Cisco and Palo Alto devices.
  • Previous experience leading complex network projects with a focus on network security and protocol configuration.
  • Experience managing wireless networks, supporting Layer 2/Layer 3 networking, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP), and redundancy protocols (HSRP, VRRP).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
