The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Manager to join our Commercial team in Winnipeg, Canada. This role involves developing and maintaining long-term customer relationships within assigned territories and markets. A successful candidate will be responsible for providing deep product expertise and sales assistance to customers across AGI's product lines while listening to their needs and offering tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets by building strong relationships with customers and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Demonstrate products and services to contractors and direct customers to drive new business and expand existing accounts.
  • Conduct thorough sales presentations and product demonstrations to showcase AGI's capabilities and solutions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of customer opportunities and interactions using CRM software.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to solve complex problems and develop customized solutions for customer accounts.
  • Work closely with management to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities and maximize revenue growth.
  • Ensure consistent achievement of sales and retention goals for all products.
  • Contribute to the development of sales and marketing strategies to support regional and national trade shows and markets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in sales or customer service, preferably in the agriculture sector.
  • Possess excellent sales and business acumen, ideally coupled with an agricultural business, marketing, or technical degree, or equivalent commensurate experience.
  • Solid understanding of market segmentation, product line profitability analysis, and new product development.
  • Ambitious and driven individual with a proven track record of managing complex technical product lines.

Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $120,000 per year, depending on experience
