We are seeking a Senior Manager, Agricultural Economics to join our Consulting – Economics team. As a trusted advisor, you'll evaluate programs and business alternatives, determine economic and financial contributions, develop public policy and empower clients to make informed decisions.
- Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of Agriculture research projects such as economic impact studies, cost-benefit studies and market studies for clients in various sectors.
- Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition).
- Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other correspondence.
- Maintain quality control and apply specialized knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues or key risks relevant to the client's business.
- Network with local businesses, consider opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs.
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews.
- Contribute to strategic planning related to client and practice management, as well as the development of new ideas and approaches to improve work processes.
This position requires a Master's or PhD in Agricultural Economics, along with 10+ years of consulting experience ideally in a client-service environment. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of quantitative economic methods and data analysis, strong writing and communication skills, and advanced project management skills.
