Emergency Nurse

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional care in a fast-paced emergency department setting? We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our dynamic care team at the Northeast Community Health Centre (NECHC) Emergency Department.
About Our OpportunityIn this rewarding role, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality patient care in a 24/7 standalone ED. Our community is diverse and multicultural, and we take pride in offering a supportive work environment that feels like family.
As an Emergency Department RN, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient outcomes while working collaboratively with our interprofessional team. Your strong communication skills and ability to adapt to challenging situations will be essential in ensuring the efficient flow of patients through our department.
We offer a competitive salary range of $65.44 - $83.32 per hour, depending on your level of experience. In addition to your base salary, you may also be eligible for shift differentials and other forms of compensation.
What We're Looking For- A minimum of 3 years recent acute care experience
- A minimum of 2 years recent ER experience
- Triage nurse and/or Charge nurse experience
- Connect Care Training
- Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NCI)
We also require current certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Emergency Nurses Paediatric Course (ENCP), Paediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP). Additionally, Advanced Critical Care Nursing (ACCN) certification and Strangers in Crisis training are highly desirable.
Please note that Provisional Permit Holders shall be paid $35.87/hour - $43.82/hour until they are entered into the register of Registered Nurses. Upon registration, their rate of pay shall be adjusted accordingly.
