Job Description

This Clinical Resource Nurse position provides key leadership and clinical expertise to staff with varying levels of experience. As a CRN, you will play a vital role in mentoring, educating, and guiding critical care nurses' transition to independent practice. You will also support the progression of nursing staff into advanced roles such as the Code Blue Team, Medical Emergency Team, and other critical care responsibilities.

You will develop and implement tailored educational programs and resources to address identified learning gaps in critical care skills, advanced nursing practices, and the use of medical technology. This position requires high visibility and direct involvement with staff to assess and meet learning and support needs, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based nursing care.

Salary

Please note that Provisional Permit Holders shall be paid $35.87/hour - $43.82/hour. Upon being entered into the register of Registered Nurses, the rate of pay shall be adjusted to the rate of pay applicable to a Registered Nurse in accordance with AHS/UNA Article 25.02(b)(i) or (ii) as applicable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A minimum of five years in clinical nursing with at least three years in critical care or intensive care settings.
  • Excellent leadership and mentorship capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of adult learning principles.
  • Code Team experience, MET experience, current Level 2 certifications, IHD and CRRT experience.
Estimated Salary Range

$83,500 - $102,000 per annum
