Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ideal Carehomes. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing a variety of meals that are appealing, nutritious, and tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
- Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary requirements of our residents.
- Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation and service.
- Monitor and control kitchen inventory, supplies, and equipment to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
- Collaborate with the care team to ensure that meals are tailored to meet the individual needs of our residents.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a senior chef in a similar environment.
- Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition and menu planning.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
