Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Ideal Carehomes. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning and preparing a variety of meals that are appealing, nutritious, and tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to ensure the smooth operation of the kitchen and maintain high standards of food quality and presentation.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse tastes and dietary requirements of our residents.
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective meal preparation and service.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of meal services.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen manager in a similar setting.
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of nutrition and menu planning.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks efficiently.
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
