Project Coordinator for Northern Remediation Projects

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our team at Parsons, working on the Giant Mine Remediation Project in Yellowknife, NWT.
About the Role:
- You will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing work packages, and ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, and quality requirements.
- Collaborate with construction superintendents, inspectors, QA/QC coordinators, finance, procurement, document control, planning, scheduling, and estimators to achieve project objectives.
- Participate in design reviews, provide constructability inputs, and develop internal budgetary estimates and schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of project progress, manage requests for information processes, and ensure compliance with change order procedures.
- Prepare monthly reports on work package progress, assess schedule and budget compliance, and participate in status briefings with stakeholders.
What You'll Need:
- A degree or technology diploma in Engineering, Geology, or a directly related technical field.
- At least 12 years of experience in project management, construction management, specifically in developing project requirements and plans, preparing cost estimates, participating in contract bidding and award processes, managing projects in execution phase, and managing project closeout.
- 5+ years of work experience in heavy civil, northern mining, or remediation projects.
- Knowledgeable of industry practices and regulations, current technologies, and their effective utilization on projects.
- Professional designation (or the ability to obtain one) as a professional geologist, engineer, CET; PMP designation is preferable.
- Experience managing on-site activities of multiple subcontractors, addressing and resolving issues such as poor performance by subcontractors.
Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
