We offer a competitive salary as per experience, ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year.

Job Description:

As a structural engineer with Nadji Architects, you will be responsible for designing and managing construction projects within budget and timeline constraints. Your main responsibilities will include conceptual and detailed design for various buildings, checking shop drawings, providing support to architects and drafting teams, site inspections, and offering day-to-day engineering solutions to project and site conditions.

Main Job Duties and Skill Requirements:

  • Professional Experience: 5 years of experience as a structural engineer
  • Northern Building Expertise: Familiarity with the challenges of constructing buildings in the north, including northern weather and soil conditions
  • Technical Knowledge: Analyze building codes, by-laws, space requirements, site requirements, and other technical documents
  • Design Skills: Familiarity with Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Institutional, and Public building design
  • Computer Applications: Proficiency in Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) software, specifically AutoCAD
  • Leadership and Communication: Ability to supervise working groups, contractors, and staff in various areas of responsibility
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Willingness to work under pressure, tight deadlines, and attention to detail
  • Travel and Language: Willingness to travel and proficiency in English language (reading, writing, and speaking)
