About the Role:

We are seeking a Senior Geoscience Project Manager to join our Environment & Water – Geo-environmental team in Yellowknife. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and managing hydrogeological projects, including groundwater investigations, water well design and installation, and aquifer testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design field investigation programs, collect and analyze field data, communicate and coordinate with clients and contractors.
  • Oversee and provide technical guidance on borehole drilling and logging, well installation, and maintenance of groundwater wells, hydraulic well testing, and surface and groundwater sampling.
  • Prepare and review technical reports.
  • Build business through proposal writing and industry contacts.
  • Assist in managing work schedules, controlling budgets, and working within a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Supervise and mentor junior and intermediate staff.

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a minimum of a bachelor's degree in engineering or geosciences (Master's degree is preferred). You should have strong work experience on field-based investigations in physical hydrogeology, groundwater supply, and hydrogeological assessments. Familiarity with provincial regulations, combined with a willingness and aptitude for project management and business development, is also essential.

Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience.
