Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team at CANCO.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising staff, assigning sales workers to duties, hiring and training or arranging for training of staff, authorizing payments by cheque, establishing work schedules, selling merchandise, preparing reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters, resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages, organizing and maintaining inventory, and supervising and co-ordinating activities of workers.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage a team of sales staff
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to increase revenue
  • Hire, train and evaluate sales staff
  • Authorize payments and manage cash flow
  • Establish and manage work schedules
  • Sell merchandise and maintain high levels of customer service
  • Prepare detailed reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and manage stock levels

Requirements

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • College/CEGEP education
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in English

What We Offer
