Business Development Representative

About the Role
Herman's Supply Company is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Account Specialist to join our team. As a Sales and Account Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business and building relationships with contractors in the store and over the phone.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize sales growth and achieve direct and cross-sell sales goals.
- Qualify, conduct needs analysis, and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs.
- Field and respond to incoming calls and other inquiries.
- Cold-calling contractors and related lead generation.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience required; experience dealing with contractors a definite asset.
- Sales experience in the construction industry is preferable.
- Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas.
- Proficient organizational skills and good problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Good general computer skills.
- Previous telephone sales experience.
- The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
