About the Role

Herman's Supply Company is seeking a highly motivated Sales and Account Specialist to join our team. As a Sales and Account Specialist, you will be responsible for generating new business and building relationships with contractors in the store and over the phone.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize sales growth and achieve direct and cross-sell sales goals.
  • Qualify, conduct needs analysis, and follow-up with prospects to ensure they purchase products and services that meet their needs.
  • Field and respond to incoming calls and other inquiries.
  • Cold-calling contractors and related lead generation.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Ability to prospect, qualify, and close sales.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of B2B sales experience required; experience dealing with contractors a definite asset.
  • Sales experience in the construction industry is preferable.
  • Must be comfortable meeting and exceeding monthly quotas.
  • Proficient organizational skills and good problem-solving skills.
  • A positive attitude, confident, and desire to be the best.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Good general computer skills.
  • Previous telephone sales experience.
  • The ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
