Job Description:
The Business Development Director will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities in the Canadian market. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the Canadian business landscape and a proven track record of success in business development, sales, and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Research & Strategy Development: Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy tailored to the Canadian market.New Business Acquisition: Develop and maintain a pipeline of new business opportunities, leading negotiations, and closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.Client Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with existing clients to drive repeat business and referrals.Brand Building: Increase brand awareness and market presence in Canada by representing PSC Group at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure all business development activities comply with Canadian laws and regulations.Preferred Job Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the Canadian market.
- A proven track record of successfully securing new business and meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong understanding of the Canadian business landscape, including market dynamics, regulatory environment, and key industry sectors.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and remotely, with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
