Executive Chef Position in a Fast-Paced Kitchen

Ontario Inc. is seeking an experienced Chef to join our team in a dynamic and fast-paced kitchen environment. This is a permanent position, with the opportunity to work 30-40 hours per week.
About the RoleWe are looking for a skilled and dedicated individual to oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes. As an Executive Chef, you will be responsible for training staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques, as well as supervising kitchen staff and helpers. Your ability to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment will be essential to ensuring smooth kitchen operations.
This role involves working closely with our team to deliver high-quality dishes to our customers. You will need to prepare dishes that cater to customers with food allergies or intolerances, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to providing excellent service.
We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $45,000-$60,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to a stable income, this role offers opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
Requirements and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- At least 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant work experience
You must have a strong passion for cooking and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your ability to multitask, work under pressure, and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment is crucial to success in this role.
