Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Executive Chef Leader to join our team at Tyemaut Foods Inc.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and execute menus, estimating food requirements for realization.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, ensuring high-quality standards.
  • Cook special meals for patients as instructed by a dietitian or chef, considering dietary restrictions and allergies.
  • Train kitchen staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, promoting teamwork and efficiency.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, maintaining a safe and healthy workplace.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Diploma in culinary arts or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in a restaurant setting.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and time management skills.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and priorities.
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations, including allergen awareness and food handling procedures.
