**About the Role**

We are seeking a highly motivated Sea Logistics Sales Development Executive to join our team in St John's. This is an exciting opportunity to develop business and sales growth with a focus on sea logistics products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new lane segments, product marketing, and customer support strategies to maximize sales growth. They will also cultivate existing customer relationships for cross-selling opportunities and generate and close new business opportunities.

As a key member of our sales team, you will be required to develop a clear strategy to ensure revenue growth, meet or exceed company sales goals and targets. You will also be responsible for creating and managing assigned customers, demonstrating expertise on sea logistics product/service offerings, and interacting with clients to schedule meetings and negotiate rate quotations.

**Responsibilities**

  • Maximize sales growth through development of new lane segments, product marketing, and customer support strategies;
  • Cultivate existing customer relationships for cross-selling opportunities;
  • Generate and close new business opportunities;
  • Develop a clear strategy to ensure revenue growth, meet or exceed company sales goals and targets;
  • Create and manage assigned customers;
  • Demonstrate expertise on sea logistics product/service offerings;
  • Interact with clients to schedule meetings and negotiate rate quotations;
  • Ensure all customer activities are recorded in the company CRM system and develop customer intelligence;
  • Service all orders, quotes, follow-ups, and customer communication;
  • Produce a sales activity report for management summarizing activities and new revenue opportunities based on CRM system;
  • Participate in defined sales meetings;
  • Support Sea Logistics Product Management through competitive analysis and improvements to service offerings.

**Requirements**

  • A minimum of 5 years field sales experience;
  • Solid PC operational knowledge along with Microsoft Office applications experience;
  • Knowledge of sea logistics services including FCL, LCL, special equipment, consolidations, trans-loading, and drayage services;
  • A High School Diploma;
  • Prior sales and/or customer service experience an asset;
  • Strong oral and written communication skills;
  • Effective presentation and customer relations skills with excellent listening skills;
  • Outstanding organizational skills;
  • Good analytical skills with attention to detail;
  • Goal-oriented, self-disciplined, and self-motivated to produce results;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.

**Salary**

The estimated salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $120,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, employee discounts, tuition reimbursement, and a highly dynamic global work environment.
