The Role: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Bakery Sales Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing a section of our store, maximizing team and sales performance, and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records and reports, as well as collaborating with colleagues to achieve common goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and control the personnel and activities of your section.
  • Manage section inventory and cash register operations.
  • Maximize team and sales performance through effective leadership and communication.
  • Handle customer requests and special situations with professionalism and poise.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of all products sold in-store.
  • Coordinate the organization of work in one or more sections of the store.
  • Open and/or close the store as required.
  • Ensure the application of product marketing, quality, hygiene, and sanitation standards by staff in your section.
  • Supervise the work of your team and carry out customer service tasks, including operating the cash register.
  • Train new employees as needed and provide guidance on sales and customer service techniques.

Requirements:
- One year's experience in a similar or customer service-related position.
- Relevant knowledge of sales and customer service techniques.
- Ability to manage a team of employees effectively.
- Fluency in spoken and written English (French fluency is a significant asset).
