Lessons Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the role of Lessons Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our Music Lesson Centre.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Interviewing and selecting qualified teachers
  • Coordinating teacher and room schedules
  • Promoting and marketing the Music Lesson Centre
  • Registering students and managing attendance and payment policies
  • Maintaining accurate student and teacher attendance records
  • Confirming and administering teacher payments
  • Training and supervising lesson staff
  • Managing overdue or delinquent customer accounts
  • Resolving student and parent complaints
  • Developing and coordinating group programs and classes
  • Scheduling and planning bi-annual student recitals
  • Evaluating teacher performance and recommending rate increases

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Minimum three years of instrumental music studies in school or through private lessons
  • Strong knowledge of music education
  • Able to work weekdays, weeknights, and weekends
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven sales and customer service skills
  • BASIC OFFICE ADMINISTRATION AND CUSTOMER ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT SKILLS
