This role is centered around the management of ocean import operations, ensuring seamless coordination with suppliers, adherence to company and regulatory requirements, and providing exceptional customer service.

Main Responsibilities

  • Understand and implement procedures related to ocean import
  • Receive and process client orders, coordinating shipments with suppliers
  • Follow up with agents to ensure timely shipment coordination
  • Manage documentation, including bills of lading and operational system updates
  • Inform clients of shipment details and arrival dates
  • Invoice clients accurately and efficiently
  • Select approved suppliers from the ISO list of suppliers

Requirements**

  • High school diploma or post-secondary education or equivalent experience
  • Minimum five years of related experience
  • Excellent organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage time and priorities effectively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
