Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Administrative Assistant to join our team at the GOLD MEDAL HEALTH CENTER. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Interview Patients: Gather important information from patients to assist healthcare professionals in making informed decisions.
  • Schedule Appointments: Coordinate and confirm patient appointments, ensuring seamless communication between our team and patients.
  • Claim Forms: Accurately complete and process insurance claim forms, maintaining confidentiality and attention to detail.
  • Filing System: Maintain a secure and organized filing system, ensuring easy access to patient records.
  • Supply Management: Order and manage office supplies, maintaining an inventory to support our staff.
  • Travel Arrangements: Book travel and accommodations for patients and staff, as needed.
  • Office Procedures: Develop and implement efficient office procedures, enhancing our operational efficiency.
  • Data Entry: Accurately enter and format medical reports, correspondence, and spreadsheets for review.
  • Confidential Records: Safeguard confidential patient records, maintaining their integrity and security.
  • Meeting Support: Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute them to relevant stakeholders.
  • Data Entry: Perform data entry tasks with precision and accuracy.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing patient concerns and needs promptly.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
