Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Support Specialist to join our team at Ocean Gate Fishery LTD.

About the Role:

  • This is a permanent full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our team, ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Establish and maintain administrative policies and procedures, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in our operations.
  2. Analyze and process incoming and outgoing communications, reports, and documents.
  3. Prepare and coordinate the production and submission of summary briefs and reports, providing timely and accurate information to our team and stakeholders.
  4. Coordinate meetings and travel arrangements, ensuring seamless planning and execution.
  5. Conduct research and gather information to support our business decisions.
  6. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including departmental officials, corporate partners, and other organizations.
  7. Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  8. Manage travel arrangements and itineraries, making reservations and coordinating logistics.
  9. Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, financial statements, and administer contracts and other documents, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  10. Type and proofread correspondence, forms, and other documents, ensuring error-free communication.
  11. Perform clerical duties, such as maintain filing and record systems, keeping our records up-to-date and accessible.
  12. Assist in conducting field research and surveys to collect data and samples, supporting our business development initiatives.
  13. Establish work priorities and ensure procedures are followed and deadlines are met, demonstrating initiative and a commitment to excellence.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in an administrative role

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Able to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word

Salary and Benefits:

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
