As a successful candidate, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences to private banking clients, providing a superior level of courteous, knowledgeable, and professional service. You'll work collaboratively with the branch and regional teams to identify and make referrals, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Prepare new business proposals or presentations to clients/prospects, highlighting the benefits of our integrated private banking services.
  • Identify customer needs and match them with the most suitable products or services, using relationship selling techniques to build long-term client relationships.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on business objectives, analyzing data and information to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain a detailed knowledge of our private banking services and offerings, as well as a thorough understanding of the strategic direction of the business.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing timely, accurate service and support to Private Bankers by completing a wide variety of credit, non-credit, and related activities.
  • Stay up-to-date with banking, investment, and lending regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in audits and compliance reviews as assigned, identifying and escalating all irregularities and discrepancies to management.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and implement process improvements, analyzing issues and determining next steps.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple priorities, completing complex and diverse tasks within given rules and limits.


Requirements:


  • Typically 2-3 years of relevant experience and a post-secondary degree in a related field of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Must meet the licensing and certification requirements for the team/branch/jurisdiction where the mandate is being fulfilled.
  • Working knowledge of personal and commercial credit and non-credit products, monitoring/operational processes, and applications.
  • Basic knowledge of the lending process and supporting policies.
  • Specialized knowledge and skills, including verbal and written communication, organization, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
