About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Sushi Cove. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our food service operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.

Train and Develop Staff

Train and develop our food service staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

Estimate and manage inventory and supplies required for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.

Lead by Example

Lead by example, demonstrating a commitment to exceptional customer service and high-quality food, and ensuring that our staff follows our standards.

Address Customer Concerns

Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that our customers feel valued and respected.

Prepare Reports and Budgets

Prepare and submit reports and budgets, providing insights and recommendations to improve our food service operations.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Language

Fluent in English

Work Schedule

30 to 40 hours per week
