Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at 2413061 Ontario INC. as a key member of our culinary operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer satisfaction are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our food service staff, including preparing and portioning food, training staff in job duties and sanitation procedures, and ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Train and Develop Staff

The successful candidate will be responsible for training and developing our food service staff, including providing guidance on job duties, sanitation procedures, and customer service standards.

Estimate and Manage Food and Supplies

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for estimating and managing food and supplies, including preparing budget and cost estimates, and ensuring that all food and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.

Ensure Quality and Customer Satisfaction

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards, and that customer satisfaction is consistently met.

Manage Records and Reports

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and preparing and submitting reports as required.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role

Skills and Abilities

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They will also have the ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and be physically demanding.

Work Environment

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, walking, and physical demands. They will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and work in a physically demanding role.
