About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at New Golden National Restaurant. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food preparation and service staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Ensure that all food preparation and service staff are working efficiently and effectively to meet our high standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide on-the-job training and coaching to help staff develop their skills and knowledge.
  • Estimate and Manage Inventory: Accurately estimate ingredient and supply requirements to ensure we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control and Assurance: Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and service to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Respond promptly and professionally to customer complaints or concerns, resolving issues in a fair and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
  • Scheduling and Workload Management: Create and manage work schedules to ensure efficient use of staff resources and meet business needs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
